The Xperia 1 VIII uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in the front, which contains an average of 25% of pre-consumer recycled content. In addition, it maintains superior scratch resistance and improves drop performance on rougher surfaces. The back features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a special texture and frosted glass finish, making it more resistant to fingerprints and surface scratches. Xperia 1 VIII IP65/683 is also water-resistant and protected against dust.

Choose from a wide range of carriers, with both physical SIM and eSIM support. Plus, even with the water and dust resistant body, no special tools are required to swap the SIM card or the up to 2 TB microSD card.
