WEICON Contact VA 1403 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive. PROPERTIES : The liquid adhesive is highly viscous & very economical. One drop is sufficient for approx. 3 to 5 cm2 of adhesive surface. APPLICATION : WEICON Contact VA 1403 is suitable for clean and optically attractive bonding of a wide variety of materials. WEICON Contact VA 1403 can be used in numerous industrial sectors. The adhesive is less susceptible to the effects of moisture when cured. PROCESSING: Clean & dry the adhesive surfaces. Roughen smooth surfaces mechanically. Apply the adhesive only to one of the surfaces to be bonded with a layer thickness of min. 0.05mm & max. 0.2mm & relative humidity of 40 to 80%, otherwise curing cannot be guaranteed. In case of large-area bonding, the contact adhesive should be applied pointwise to avoid internal tensions. STORAGE: WEICON Contact Adhesives are stable for at least 9 months if stored unopened at room temperature and in a dry & preferably dark place. At temperatures around +5°C they can be stored for 12 months. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC safety data sheets must be observed. TECHNICAL DATA: Ester type: Alkoxy. Composition: colourless, clear liquid. Final strength after: 24 hours. Temperature resistance: -50 to +80/ softening point +150°C
