What is a Warranty?

A warranty is a promise made by a manufacturer to a buyer that the goods being sold will meet certain specifications or perform as expected.

This Warranty Policy does not cover the following categories:

Warranty Duration:

Our warranty policy ensures coverage for defects in material, design, and workmanship arising after product purchase. For selected products and instances where we act as the seller, a 12-month warranty applies to eligible items purchased by all buyers within the UAE. For products purchased through a third-party seller (marketplace), the respective seller’s warranty terms apply.

Warranty Start Date:

The warranty of the item begins from the product receipt date.

Warranty Repairs:

All warranty repairs against products bought from Sharaf DG (not marketplace) will be handled by the brand’s authorized service centers. If you have purchased a product through a marketplace seller that is not Sharaf DG, the terms of the respective seller’s warranty will apply.

When Warranty Becomes Invalid?

This Warranty Policy becomes invalid for the following cases:

  • Damage caused by accident, liquid, physical damage, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized service center modification.
  • Damage caused by power surges or other electrical fluctuations.
  • Damage caused by the use of accessories that are not compatible with the product.
  • Damage caused by environmental factors, such as moisture, extreme temperatures, or pests.

How to protect from Accidental & Liquid Damages?

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

  • For items bought from Sharaf DG store:
    • Bring the item to any Sharaf DG store with the original tax invoice received by the customer on his/her registered email ID/Phone Number.
    • Head to the Customer Service desk within the store and inform the staff that you would like to service the item under your warranty claim.
  • For items bought from www.sharafdg.com (Sharaf DG Items):
    • In Store Warranty Claim:
      • Bring the item to any Sharaf DG store with the original tax invoice received by the customer on his/her registered email ID/Phone Number.
      • Head to the Customer Service desk within the store and inform the staff that you would like to service the item under warranty claim.
    • Online Warranty Claim:
      • Email your order details to Email, and our customer support team will reach out to provide you with the necessary instructions.
  • For items bought from www.sharafdg.com (Marketplace Items):
    • Email your order details to Email, and our customer support team will reach out to provide you with the necessary instructions.

Process:

We will inspect the product to determine if it is covered under warranty. If the product is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you. If the product is not covered under warranty, we will notify you of the cost of repairs or replacement.

Note: Some service centers will demand an inspection charge if the product is found out of warranty and the quote is rejected by the customer.

General Terms & Conditions:

The repair or replacement of a product under this warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period. The applicable warranty terms remain in accordance with your device manufacturer.

If your product is unrepairable but remains under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will either issue a replacement from the same seller or provide a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.

Warranty Providers:

The device’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer, or their authorized service provider and it is subjected to the warranty policies of the manufacturer, which can be found on the user manual or the official website of the manufacturer.

Sharaf DG is not responsible for warranty services provided by authorized service centers. This includes the availability of spare parts, repair duration, and repair quality. Customers should directly contact the warranty service provider if they have any complaints or concerns.

Service Policy:

Customers are responsible for safeguarding their personal data and device information.

Before submitting a device for repair, customers should back up their data, disable Find My iPhone (FMI), Find My Mobile (FMM) or Find My Device (FMD) and remove any lock or password.

The time it takes customers to provide device information or obtain approval is not included in the repair turnaround time (TAT).

Out-of-Warranty Repair Fees:

If the service center determines that your product is no longer under warranty, they may offer to repair it for a fee. You are not obligated to accept this offer, and you can have the product returned to you without repair.
