Bring the authentic atmosphere of the movie theater into your living room. The BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 supports industry-standard formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for a truly premium experience

Ultimate surround with 360 Spatial Sound Mapping

Experience the ultimate home surround sound experience. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology creates 5 phantom speakers in front of you and reflects sound off the ceiling and walls, enabling cinema-style surround sound from a single soundbar.

Speaker placement made simple

Don’t worry about finding the perfect speaker position. Wherever you place them, Sound Field Optimization calibrates sound accordingly, using phantom speakers to create the ideal surround sound field.

The best seat is where you are

Enjoy quality surround sound wherever you’re sitting. Just run calibration with our smartphone app, BRAVIA Connect, and the BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 will detect your position in the room and optimize sound to suit.

Compact yet immersive with 9 speaker units

There’s more to great surround sound than signal processing alone. Your physical speakers need to deliver exceptional acoustic performance too—and the BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 doesn’t disappoint.

New 2-way speaker system

Discover clear, wide surround sound from a single soundbar. The BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 features a new 2-way speaker system with dedicated woofers and tweeters for the front left and right channels, delivering wider surround sound and a precise sound image.

Hear sound from overhead

Up-firing speakers reflect sound off the ceiling for immersive overhead audio. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping creates phantom ceiling speakers for even more atmospheric sound

Side speakers fill the space with sound

Side speakers reflect wide directional sound off the walls, filling your entire room with expansive sound and giving entertainment a real sense of drama and scale.

Center speaker for clear dialogue

Equipped with a full-range center speaker, this system ensures dialogue stays clear and natural—so every word comes through beautifully.

Built-in woofer and passive radiators deliver deep bass

Don’t be fooled by the slimline design. Thanks to built-in woofers and passive radiators, the BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 generates the type of deep, resonant bass you’d expect from much larger speakers.

X-Balanced Speaker Unit

The speakers’ unique rectangular shape maximizes the diaphragm area for punchy bass. It also reduces driver excursion and maintains sound pressure, ensuring less distortion and greater vocal clarity.

With BRAVIA, home becomes cinema

Bring the emotion and excitement of a movie theater home. Pair the BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 with a BRAVIA TV for an unmatched audio-visual experience, immersing you in every scene as never before.

Crystal clear voice. Precise dialogue.

No more muffled voices. Combined with compatible BRAVIA, our new Voice Zoom 3 powered by AI machine learning recognizes human voices and amplifies or reduces their volume so even small dialogue sounds loud and clear.

Effortless control with BRAVIA TV

Control surround sound easily with your BRAVIA TV remote. Sound settings automatically appear on the BRAVIA Quick Settings menu for easy control of features, like Sound Field and volume.

Space-saving design

The supplied spacer allows the soundbar to sit tidily over the TV stand for an integrated look that saves you space.

One system, many ways to listen

From movies to playlists, BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 supports multiple sound modes—upmixing, multi stereo, and upconvert—so whatever you play is delivered with immersive audio that fills your room.

Upmix stereo content to surround sound

Sony’s upmixer delivers rich surround sound even from stereo content. Its innovative algorithm extracts and redistributes individual audio objects to immerse you in 3D sound. While upmixing, AI Sound Separation processing detects human voices and makes them sound clearer.

Amplify the moment with Multi Stereo

Multi Stereo enhances your listening experience by playing the same sound from both front (L/R/Center) and rear speakers, creating a full-room sound boost. Feel the sound reverberate with greater intensity, amplifying every moment.

Stream music from your favorite services

It’s not all about movies. You can also enjoy music in high-quality upmixed sound. Built-in support for Spotify Connect and Apple AirPlay lets you play all your favorite tracks.

Bluetooth connection

Enjoy wireless music streaming from your smartphone and other devices with Bluetooth technology

DSEE Ultimate

Using Edge-AI, DSEE Ultimate (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) upscales compressed digital music files in real time, restoring acoustic details for a richer listening experience.
