- 1. Program Overview
- The Guaranteed Buy-Back Program provides customers with a guaranteed buy-back when upgrading their eligible Apple MacBook Air M5 (13-inch or 15-inch) to a new Apple MacBook within 4 years of subscription tenure. For instance, an Apple MacBook Air M5 (13-inch or 15-inch) purchased in 2026 may be exchanged for a new Apple MacBook, subject to the year of buyback tenure and the condition of the device at the time of redemption.
- 2. Eligibility
- This plan is available only to customers who purchase an Apple MacBook Air M5 (13-inch or 15-inch variant).
- Customer must pay AED 185/- (incl. VAT) for the subscription which is valid for 4 years.
- This offer is not applicable to any other MacBook model, including the MacBook Air (M4 and earlier), MacBook Pro (M5 and earlier), and MacBook Neo series.
- Customers will be charged the following subscription fee of AED 185/- and can only subscribe between 10th August 2026 to 13th Sep 2026.
- 3. Guaranteed Buy-Back Value
- The guaranteed buy-back value remains fixed throughout the redemption period for the selected subscription tenure and is subject to the condition of the device as assessed at the time of redemption (see Section 9). The applicable buy-back values are set out below:

Similarly, if the customer wants to claim redemption for 2nd year, the customer can only claim it in the redemption period 1st Sep 2028 until 30th Sep 2028.

- The plan must be purchased and enrolled between 10th August 2026 to 13th Sep 2026 for an Apple MacBook Air M5.
- Redemption Period: Customers may redeem the enrolled device only during the applicable redemption window for the selected program year, as set out in the Guaranteed Buy Back table below (refer redemption window Point 3).
- Store representatives will be responsible for explaining the program to the customer. For every MacBook Air M5 enrolled under the GBB program, DG help representative will capture the purchasing device details, including model, specification, storage, colour (where applicable), serial number and original selling price.
- If a device returned under the GBB program is accepted by Sharaf DG in an incorrect condition, NorthLadder may charge or recover from Sharaf DG the difference between the customer value paid based on the accepted condition and the value applicable to the actual condition determined upon validation.
- In the event of a device exchange through an Apple Service Provider, the customer must submit a Letter of Exchange and the original purchase invoice as supporting documents at the time of redemption.
- 6. Exchange Voucher — Non-Transferable
- The exchange voucher cannot be redeemed for any other goods or products. It may only be redeemed towards the purchase of a new MacBook at the time of redemption.
- The voucher may be redeemed only by the customer whose name appears on the original purchase invoice.
- The plan is valid only for the MacBook bearing the same serial number as stated on the original invoice. If a customer purchases multiple MacBooks and wishes to subscribe to the Guaranteed Buy-Back Program for more than one device, a separate subscription must be purchased and linked to the respective serial number of each MacBook, as shown on the corresponding invoice.
- 7. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- In the event of a refund or exchange of the MacBook, the plan fee shall not be refunded.
- This plan is non-transferable and is linked to the unique serial number of the eligible MacBook. It cannot be transferred to another device or customer.
- If a customer cancels the plan or returns the MacBook for a refund within the return window, the plan fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- 8. Redemption Period
- The plan may be redeemed against an eligible Apple MacBook Air M5 model, as defined in Section 2, and subscription is valid till 30th September 2030. For redemption window eligibility refer Point 3 which mentions eligible period of redemption.
- 9. Device Condition Criteria
- The applicable buy-back value at the time of redemption is determined based on the condition category assigned to the device following the assessment conducted at the time of exchange:

- Program Overview
- The MacBook Guaranteed BuyBack (GBB) program offers customers a guaranteed buy-back value when upgrading their current MacBook to a new Apple MacBook Air M2/M3 or MacBook Pro M2/M3 variant.
- Eligibility
- i. The GBB plan is available for Apple MacBook Air M2/M3 variants or MacBook Pro M2/M3 variants. The offer is not applicable for MacBook Air M1 or MacBook Pro M1 models.
- ii. Customers will be charged the following fees for the GBB plan:
- · 12 months: AED 150 (Trade-in period: Apr 2025 – Mar 2026)
- · 24 months: AED 175 (Trade-in period: Apr 2026 – Mar 2027)
- · 36 months: AED 200 (Trade-in period: Apr 2027 – Mar 2028)
- Plan Enrollment
- i. The GBB plan must be purchased/enrolled between April 5, 2024, and March 2028.
- ii. Once enrolled, the plan is valid from the date of purchase until March 31, 2028.
- Redemption
- i. Customers can redeem their GBB plan for the MacBook Air M2/M3 and MacBook Pro M2/M3 series from April 2025 until March 2028, based on the subscription duration.
- ii. Customers must provide the original invoice at the time of trade-in.
- iii. In the event of a device exchange from an Apple Service Provider, a letter of exchange and the original invoice must be presented at the time of redemption.
- Redemption Conditions
- The trade-in value is based on the following conditions:
- Condition 1:
- · Fully functional device with charger
- · No scratches on the screen
- · Minor scratches or no dents on the back cover and housing
- · Fully functional trackpad and webcam
- · No missing parts (keys, back cover, battery)
- · Free from all locks (device lock, Google lock, Apple lock, or network lock)
- Condition 2:
- · Fully functional device with charger
- · Major scratches on the screen
- · Major scratches or major dents on the back cover and housing
- · Fully functional trackpad and webcam
- · No missing parts (keys, back cover, battery)
- · Free from all locks (device lock, Google lock, Apple lock, or network lock)
- Subscription Details
- The GBB plan fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The plan is associated with the serial number unique to the MacBook and cannot be transferred to another device.
- Limitations
- i. The exchange voucher is non-transferable and can only be redeemed against a new MacBook purchased in the same customer’s name as mentioned on the original invoice.
- ii. If a customer wishes to purchase multiple MacBooks and subscribe to the buyback plan for each, they must purchase separate subscriptions with the respective serial numbers mentioned in the invoices.
- iii. The plan is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for any other products or hard goods.
- Conditions for Refund and Changes
- i. The GBB plan fees are non-refundable. In the event of a refund or change of the MacBook, the plan fees will not be refunded.
