Many thermostats, like ecobee, have large digital displays that are designed to be seen from a distance, which is nice for anyone with low vision. You can even connect the thermostat to a voice assistant like Amazon’s Alexa or Google Assistant, and adjust the settings by voice so you don’t have to be able to see at all!When paired with a voice assistant, smart thermostats are super helpful for just about everyone. As someone that struggles to regulate their body temperature and lacks the ability to get out of bed in the middle of the night, I really love this feature. There have been many nights that I have awoke feeling cold or hot and it has been so nice to just tell Alexa to adjust the thermostat accordingly.
