Designed for passionate audiophiles seeking a flagship DAC and amp that goes beyond sheer precision, Valkyrie lets you sculpt the feel of your music with technologies found in the worlds best mastering houses. It is equipped with Qualcomms flagship QCC5181 chip featuring Bluetooth 5.4 capable of streaming lossless CD quality audio. With astonishing max power Valkyrie can drive tough headphone loads with ease.

DSD Remastering

The iDSD Valkyrie is designed for those wanting to sculpt the feel and emotion of their music to how they envision it. Inspired by the artistry of mastering engineers it features iFis bespoke DSD1024 Remastering algorithm powered by a custom coded FPGA. DSD Remastering transforms any file by increasing resolution and reducing distortion delivering sound that rivals a professionally remastered recording.

K2 and K2HD Modes

Developed at Victor Studios this technology restores emotion to digital audio. Engineers refined K2 using masters relying on human expertise. The Valkyrie incorporates two modes K2 mode and K2HD mode. K2HD optionally upscales audio files before applying selected K2 parameters for waveform shaping. It extends high frequencies to restore natural harmonics achieving sound quality close to the original master. For those who prefer restoration without changing the sample rate K2 mode provides a similar effect while preserving the files resolution.

Quad DAC Architecture

At the heart of the Valkyrie are four Burr Brown DSD1793 DACs in a hybrid multi bit configuration drawing inspiration from long standing experience with the multi bit Philips TDA1541A. First introduced in the Pro iDSD this interleaved design captures the magic and impact of the multi bit chipset with superior low level linearity for detail.

Additional Features

Valkyrie offers six digital filters Bit Perfect Standard Minimum GTO Apodising and Transient Aligned. It includes analogue processing that transforms headphone listening into a captivating experience.

Cut the Cord, Not the Quality

iFi equipped the Valkyrie with technology to deliver CD quality audio wirelessly with zero data loss. It supports Hi Res Bluetooth playback over LDAC and LHDC.

Next Gen Compatibility

xMEMS is driver technology for IEMs that uses the piezoelectric effect to deliver accurate sound. The Valkyrie provides the correct bias voltage and equalization required to drive xMEMS IEMs.

Colossal Battery Capacity
