They have excellent bass response, overall great frequency response, great soundstage, stereo width, great depth, and great presence and detail. They truthfully represent the sounds of the recordings that we work so hard to make. I really enjoy them.

These headphones really reproduce bass and it’s not just something in your ears, you start to feel it in your body, and nobody’s really ever gotten close to that. These headphones bring you to a place where the music becomes intimate, so you become closer to the music. You are immersed in the sound. You’re swimming in the music. It’s a full experience. The WH-1000XM6 headphones are amazing.

We, as mastering engineers, we spend a ton of time going back and forth with the artists and producers trying to make their vision sound the way they intend. I think, particularly on the WH-1000XM6, the experience that the listener is going to have is going to ultimately be a more enjoyable experience because they’re hearing every single emotion, engineering decision and songwriting choice that the artist and engineer have made.

The thing that I love is there is an intent from Sony to always strive for the best. To make the best product that serves as a bridge from the art to the consumer. These headphones have done that. The WH-1000XM6 headphones are that bridge. The consumer can now be transported to where the artist wanted them to go. The artist can tell that story, and they can hear that story. You’re a part of the music. I think this would be a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend them for fans of music.
