WEICON Easy-Mix PU-240 50ml Polyurethane Adhesive PROPERTIES The high-viscosity polyurethane-based adhesive is fast-curing, high-strength and bonds fibre composites, plastics, polyurethane, epoxies, polyester, metal, wood and ceramics. APPLICATION The adhesive bonds numerous materials such as fibre composites, plastics, polyurethane, epoxies, polyester, metals, wood and ceramics to and among each other with high tensile, shear and peel strength. PROCESSING A prerequisite for perfect bonding is clean and dry bonding surfaces (e.g. cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner). WEICON Easy-Mix products can be applied directly from double cartridges with the static mixer supplied. Discard the first 5 cm of the dosed bead. The adhesive is applied on one side. Higher strengths can be achieved by further pretreatment of the surfaces. Some low-energy plastics can only be bonded after special pre-treatment of the surfaces by e.g. fluorination, low-pressure plasma, corona, flame treatment or similar. STORAGE In unopened condition and storage at normal climate (+23°C and 50% rel. humidity) 9 months shelf life. SAFETY When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC safety data sheets must be observed.
