The Nova 2 Plus has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. It is powered by the same octa-core Kirin 659 chipset coupled with Mali T830 GPU. It has a 4GB of RAM but with 128 GB internal storage which can be further expanded to an additional 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack as well.
In terms of optics, the Nova 2 has a similar combination of 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera on the rear panel with LED flash, PDAF, and f/1.8 aperture. on the front, it again has a 20-megapixel selfie snapper. It houses a 3,340mAh battery.
On the software front, the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus runs on Android Nougat 7.0 based EMUI 5.1 custom OS. For connectivity, the two smartphones offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type C port.
